HIVE FEST 2025 LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE

Event Location: Camp Cedar Creek

Checking the “I agree” box in the ticket form means that the ticket buyer and all ticket holders acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions of this Liability Waiver & Release:

1. Assumption of Risk
   I, the undersigned, understand and acknowledge that attending Hive Fest 2025 at Camp Cedar Creek involves participation in various recreational activities, including but not limited to camping, hiking, swimming, music performances, and other outdoor activities, which carry inherent risks of injury, illness, or death. I voluntarily assume all risks related to these activities.
   

2. Release of Liability
   In consideration for being allowed to attend Hive Fest 2025 at Camp Cedar Creek, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the event organizers, staff, volunteers, Camp Cedar Creek, or any affiliated parties, from any and all liability for any injury, death, or damages to myself or my property arising out of or in connection with my attendance at Hive Fest 2025.
   

3. Indemnification
   I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, staff, volunteers, and Camp Cedar Creek from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, including attorney’s fees, arising from my actions or the actions of those I am responsible for during the event.
   

4. Medical Treatment
   I authorize event staff or agents to seek medical treatment for me if necessary and agree to be financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of an injury or illness occurring during the event.
   

5. Behavior and Conduct
   I agree to follow all event rules and guidelines as outlined by event organizers. I understand that failure to adhere to event rules or conduct myself in a manner deemed inappropriate or dangerous may result in removal from the event without a refund.
   

6. Photo & Video Release
   I grant permission to Hive Fest 2025 and its organizers to use photographs, video recordings, and other media taken during the event for promotional purposes without compensation to me.
   

7. Alcohol and Substance Use
   I acknowledge that the use of alcohol or controlled substances during the event may present additional risks, and I assume responsibility for my actions and behavior while consuming such substances at the event.
   

8. Severability
   If any provision of this Waiver is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this Waiver will remain in full force and effect.
